Andrea
Conosco Andrea fin da bambino, passavamo assolati pomeriggi a giocare, costruzioni, capanne, guardie e ladri e tanti garini in bici... già, la bici, quella di Andrea la riconoscevi subito, diversa dalle altre, aveva l'interruttore per accendere luci e frecce, gli stop, lo specchietto retrovisore e sul manubrio era montata una centralina con diverse funzioni che cambiavano ogni settimana. La sua passione era grande ed è rimasta tale negli anni.
Ora lo ritrovo nel suo negozio dove di tanto in tanto passo per un saluto e quattro chiacchere ed ogni volta è un piacere ammirare la dedizione al suo mestiere, l'artigiano. Ciò che mi colpisce è la quantità di cose che riesce a fare contemporaneamente: ripara due bici alla volta, parla con clienti e amici di passaggio, telefona, saluta chi si affacia alla vetrina e nel frattempo discorre con me. Chi entra chiede di tutto, Andrea è diventato il tuttofare del quartiere.
La sua tuta, i guanti, la luce che filtra dalla vetrina sono tutti blu, il colore dell'equilibrio e della tranquillità che ottimamente si sposano con il suo carattere.
I have known Andrea since I was a child, we spent sunny afternoons playing, buildings, huts, guards and thieves and many rides on bikes ... yes, Andrea's bike you recognized it immediately, different from the others, it had the switch to turn on lights, the stops, the rear view mirror and on the handlebar there was a control unit with different functions that changed every week. His passion was great and has remained so over the years.
Now I find him in his shop where from time to time I go for a greeting and a chat and every time it is a pleasure to admire the dedication to his job, the craftsman. What strikes me is the amount of things he can do at the same time: he repairs two bikes at a time, talks with passing customers and friends, telephones, greets those who look after the shop window and in the meantime talks with me. Whoever enters asks for everything, Andrea has become the neighborhood handyman.
His suit, gloves, the light that filters through the shop window are all blue, the color of balance and tranquility that perfectly match his character.
